~french farmhouse stylin’~decorating with birds’ nests~

Hi friends,

Okay, how about some more ~raggygirlvintage french farmhouse stylin’~
I’m all about keeping it simple gals, so just sharing what works for me!

So, ~birds nests~ A great way to introduce a little of that more rustic feel a la ~french farmhouse~ into your decor in a budget friendly way.

This is one of my best loved nests. The speckled eggs in this nest are a great neutral color, they go well pretty much whereever I put it. I’ve had it in a birdcage, under a wire cloche, out on a dresser. So versatile!

I also love the two tone layers in this nest, especially against the burlap.

So if you’re wanting to introduce a little more ~french farmhouse stylin’~ in your home, better go get yourself a nest! Just make sure you pick one that looks authentic. Or if you have more patience than me you could make one, there are some tutorials out there by bloggers who have made their own nests!

Next post I’ll be showing you my nest with robin’s blue eggs, it is teeny tiny and so sweet. Yes, a bit more color in our ~french farmhouse stylin’~!

So, how about you, do you use birds nests in your decorating?

Bye for now
Tracey

Oh how I love nests ........ OBVIOUSLY. Having one stuck at the top of my blog header!!! I would love to find a nest, especially with eggs or even just watch a nest from a window and see the mama and babies. That nest looks like a fun prop to shoot with.

So darling...we had a bird nest in our tree that we share with our neighbour and I saw him out there with his blower destroying it...I was so angry...I would of rescued it if I would of known. I left it because I wanted the bird owners to come back to it.
Thank you for your sweet comments that you left me the other day. xoxoxo HUGS

That first collage photo...beautiful!!!!!! Can I pin it? I am in love with your nest. I have several real nests that I find in spring after the winter has passed so I rescue them and bring them indoors. :)
Blessings~

Pretty photos! You've inspired me to go buy a nest with eggs! I used to have some but don't know where they are right now with all this moving.
Happy Spring!
