~PB ain't got spots on this!~

hello peeps

well, how do you like my take on a french lumbar pillow PB style

i simply adore these really loooong pillows

not only do they look great, they are super comfortable

but the prices

~not so much~

so i decided to create my own super long lumbar pillow using an available insert

mostly i have to make my own lumbar inserts, they are hard to find, especially if you don't want feather

but this one I purchased at Joanns
a wonderfully long 16x28"

i transferred a fab french graphic on the front

"chateux d'angers"

and voila!

~some loooong french farmstylin' goodness~

Beautiful pillow Tracey! How do you transfer a print to a pillow? I could make some of those to sell at the store, but haven't a clue how to do it. I've seen people use their printers, but I can't imagine my printer accepting fabric.

I love it! It's awesome and even better than PB because everyone in the US doesn't have it! Do you have one in your shop? If not, you should make another, I'll bet it would sell in a heartbeat! Then, when everyone in the US has yours, you make make another one and be different again!

You did a wonderful job on the pillow! I too feel as though many shops even some of the online places just charge way too much for a pillow. I've just begun learning to sew, I've done it in high school but well, that was a lifetime ago, so I'm picking it back up just to do a few affordable pillows, but most importantly in the patterns I want. Wonderful post! I'm off to check out your shop on etsy.

I LOVE your pillow! I'm so impressed that you put on your own graphic. It looks fabulous - like you paid $70 for it!
