vintage picnic goodies

i promised I'd show you some of my other vintage treasures gathered over the last few weeks

so here is my little vintage picnic I put together

come take a look with me...

vintage metal picnic basket, all rusty on the top, such neat handles

with a buttercup yellow apron tucked inside...

and see my kodak brownie camera, passed one of these up a couple months ago and vowed not to pass up the next one up I came across!

vintage red checked thermos, in great condition

and what picnic would be complete without a bowl of fresh sweet strawberries

in one of my favorite vintage china bowls, I paid 25c for it because it has a chip, but I just love the color so much

all laid out on an old coffee sack, with a jar of friendly nasturtiums

happy picnic days,
Tracey

That is so very neat! My Gramps had that very same thermos he used to take everyday to work...I remember it well as a child. Cute basket too. THanks for joining in on the party....and also for your kind words of wisdom. I just needed to stop posting as much...I will still post but cut it in half for now:) Have a great weekend.

I love the color of that basket and that it's metal! I just found an old one too the other day. They make for great storage.

I love those old picnic baskets. We used to have one when I was a kid. Would make a great 4th of July vignette.
