do you have special birthday traditions?
in our home for each child's birthday we have "land of nod" cinnamon buns
it takes 5 minutes to put together this
then off to the land of nod you go and leave them to do their thing
they rise up into this huge pan of buns!!
they rise up into this huge pan of buns!!
bake them in the morning and ta-da, yummy cinnamon buns
here's the recipe if you don't already have it~
~"land of nod" cinnamon buns
20 frozen dough rolls (mine come in a pack of 24, i use them all)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vanilla instant pudding
1-2 tablespoons cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup melted butter (1 stick)
Grease a large bundt pan.
Mix brown sugar, vanilla pudding, cinnamon and raisins together.
Layer in pan. Pour melted butter over top.
Cover with a clean, damp dishtowel.
Off to land of nod.
In the morning, preheat oven to 350, bake for 25 mins. Let them sit for 5 mins then turn out on serving plate.
in our house if we're gonna do calories we go all the way, and drizzle them with white glace icing
we can't possibly eat them all in one sitting, but i leave them out on the counter lightly covered and they're all gone by that night...
do you think he liked them - maybe just a little!!

What a yummy traditions. And they sound so easy.
Oh, these sound delicious and decadent! My mouth is watering seeing the photo. How do you make your icing?
I didn't know other people made these!
My fiance's mom makes a similar version of them... has convinced her son that THESE are cinnamon rolls... while delicious, not exactly a cinnamon roll.... just a quick treat :)
Personally I think the pudding is a bit odd, but EVERYONE loves them!
Thanks for stoping by my blog and commenting on my new wreath!
