our yard is not all that big...
and we've planted it up from scratch...
but what a thrill to be able to actually cut blooms from your own yard...
]
and fill the house with them....
in a favorite pitcher...
or simple jar...
(i know, i know, i seriously need a bigger nest in my birdcage!)
i'm working on it...
i'm working on it...
such bliss...

sigh. Such pretty and simple bouquets. I remember an old, old "Martha Stewart" magazine that gave a bouquet idea for every month of the year. Her advice, at the time, for the summer garden months was to pick simple and small bouquets for the indoors and let the outdoors be the showcase. I can see that you and her are of the exact same mind! =]
I haven't had a garden for 3 summers, now. Finally, I have space and DIRT. Hooray! When it's a little cooler, in August, I will basically be starting 'from scratch', too. (Hopefully, I can get a head start on next summer.) Your words are like encouragement, written just for me.
Love, Katy Noelle
Hi Tracey,
I love your flowers and I'm kinda jealous!
Here in the coastal south it is so hot that nothing stands a chance. No flowers for me. (boohoo)
