what's a girl to do??

so what's a girl to do??

when you're running late...

and you go whizzing past your favorite-but-i-can-never-afford-the-prices antique store??

and there, sitting all alone beside the dumpster....

you catch just a glimpse...

could it possibly be...??

do the fastest U-turn ev-ah of course...

ignore the rolled eyes and "aww, mom" from the back of the van

and rescue the beauty!!!

really, it doesn't take much to keep me happy...

Oh yeah....what a find on this beauty! Hard to believe someone would throw it away. So glad you joined in on the party. If you would be so kind to add my link, I would really appreciate that. Have a great day. Debbie

That's why I had to get new tires on my car! Those wheels just don't turn hard enough! Next I'll have to get new brakes:) I would have slammed on the brakes and turned around for this also.

Okay, not sure where I need to be looking but I never see anything thrown away that looks like that!! It is beautiful! I would want to put it in my master bedroom! How romantic!

Wow! What a great find! One day when your son spots something next to a dumpster that just should NOT be thrown to the landfill he will without hesitation pick it up and rescue it, thanks to you. I would have done the same thing and now my 21 year old son who goes to UofM does not hesitate to dumpster dive and last year him and his buddies rescued a very nice computer chair, a LAPTOP that still worked perfectly, tons of law books that they sold to the book store and more. But your chandi tops them all! Fabulous! Theresa
